Life is Out of Control!

So I really didnt think that it had been that long since I have posted something but looks like I missed all of August and now its Sept. August was so crazy it is still a blur in my head. We have been not stop lately. This is our Sept so far. We have put our house up for sale. We dont know where we are going yet but we are giving ourselves plenty of time to figure it out. Ty started school. He is liking the U so much and we are gettting closer and closer to graduation! YAY! We took off to St George for a Labor Day break. It was nice to go see Ty's cousin and his family. We all went boating and then the boys played golf nonstop while Mindy and I went shopping nonstop. It was great. Then to top it off we went to Mesquite randomly one night and played bingo. Bingo is awesome! I was one number away from 500 and Mindy was 3 numbers away from 15,000. I will for sure be going back to do that again. Thanks Mindy for introducing me to that. This last weekend my cousin Tia got married, my cousin Taylor blessed his 2nd little girl and my cousin Brandon was ordained a Priest. It was so fun to have everyone together. It has been such a long time since the extended family gathered. So we have been a little one thing after the next and Marley can vouch cause he is so mad/sad that we have been gone so much. I will be busy again for the next couple of weeks cause I have 2 horse shows this month starting tmrw and then one the following week. The first one is at the state fair and the other is at south jordan equestrian center. Hope you all are enjoying this beautiful weather! I know we are!

Vacay Week!

We have just had one the funnest weeks! Last Sunday through Wednesday we went up to Midway with my family! It was a eventful few days! We went golfing at The Homestead and Wasatch, which were both beautiful courses. We spent a day at The Olympic Park also. We watched the kids do their jumping into the pool (I would love to try that), then we went and got the golden passes to do the bobsledding, their version of the alpine slide and the 2 zip lines. It was so much fun. The bobsledding was amazing, it kind of hurt your head but so worth the experience. And of course we ate at Baja Cantina and shopped at the Outlets. That was a great time with the fam and very relaxing. I love Midway, I would not mind moving up there or having a place up there one day. Then Thurs did a bit of celebrating but just trying to recover from the past few days and then we headed up to Spring Canyon, which is located near Price. Ty's family had a reunion over the weekend. It was so nice to see some family that we hadnt seen in a while. We got caught up with family, shot shotguns, went four wheeling, played games and got nice and dirty. We had a great time with everyone. All in all it was a fabulous week and a very much needed break for both of us!! I am working on getting pics put on. Anyway it is back to work on Mon and we are not looking forward to it!

Kayaking and Tubing

Saturday we decided to take a ride down the provo river with some friends. Tyler went down in a kayak and I a tube. Our eventful day started at 1pm and did not get done til 630pm. Im sure your wondering why it took so long when we should have finished in half that time. Well I will make it a short tale cause it would be quite a long post if I told all the details. 5 minutes down the river one of the beginners capsized which caused a 2 hour wait. Tyler had to dive in the river to save someone elses kayak from floating to the tune of an $800 replacement fee. Then, in an effort to help stablize the amateur, i was drug through rapids and tree branches. I think I may have broke my toe on some rocks. To crown the day with glory our friends rescued a drowning lady! To summize, I am sunburnt like crazy, broken toed which is causing me to be a gimp and now match my red shirts when i wear shorts. Ty has turned out to be a pretty good kayaker! Last we heard the lady our friends saved is doing just fine. All in all it was not the best first time down the river, however we are for sure planning on doing it again! Sorry I dont have any pics but I may put a picture of my toe but not really sure its what people want to see. Hope you all have a great week! Oh and the random question for the week is "Where does all the rubber go that comes off our tires?"

Very True!

I received this email today that is quite honestly so true in our world today! Thought I would share this random thought with all of you. I love to ponder about random things so once a week I will share a random thought and please feel free to share yours back!

Three Things to Ponder:

1. Cows

2. The Constitution

3. The Ten Commandments

COWS - Is it just me, or does anyone else find it amazing that during the mad cow epidemic our government could track a single cow, born in Canada almost three years ago, right to the stall where she slept in the state of Washington? And they tracked her calves to their stalls. But they are unable to locate 11 million illegal aliens wandering around out country. Maybe we should give each of them a cow.

THE CONSTITUTION- They keep talking about drafting a Constitution for Iraq. Why don't we just give them ours? It was written by a lot of really smart guys, it has worked for over 200 years, and we're not using it anymore.

THE TEN COMMANDMENTS - The real reasons that we can't have the Ten Commandments posted in a courthouse is this: You cannot post "Thou Shalt Not Steal", "Thou Shalt Not Commit Adultery", and "Thou Shalt Not Lie" in a building full of lawyers, judges, and politicians...It creates a hostile work environment.

Where have the months gone?

Wow! I cant believe March was the last time I posted something. It for sure has been a crazy year so far and as usual time goes by so fast. Tyler has been golfing any chance he gets and has improved so much in such a short time. He has also been working hard as ever! He will be attending the U this fall to finish up his degree. Yay! Marley has gotten so big and is the best dog! We have had so much fun with him and he has helped us get ready for kids in a way. I have been working as usual and my business has grown so much this year. I have so much fun with each one of my clients and grateful to them for staying with me! The horses are doing awesome this year and it has been a nice relaxing show season compared to last year! We are hoping to go on a little vacation together here pretty soon. Just cant decide where we want to go yet. Well I will try to do better at this blogging stuff. It is so fun when you have more people doing it with you. I am going to be updating our blog so sorry if it looks a little weird over the next little while. Hope you are all having a great summer!

SPRING!!!

Could it be that spring might be here? Who is to say? Well I believe mother nature more than anything and it is definetly on its way because all of my horses are shedding out and that is a big sign of it coming! Anyway things are going well with us. Hope you are all having a great year so far. We are so excited for this year and have some great things planned with one another. Ty is working on finishing up his associates degree and working hard on fence sales and Primerica. Any spare second he has you can find him in open fields of green chasing white objects around and trying to win Marley's love over me. I am working at the salon trying to keep up on everyone and then also doing bookwork for my dad and keeping the horses in shape, oh taking care of Marley as well, which has been so much fun but alot of work at the same time. If I have any spare time I try to get more things done around the house and hanging out with Marley. Marley has been a great thing for our family. He has definetly gotten bigger and I swear gets bigger and bigger through every nap he takes! Well maybe next time I will have something more interesting to say but til then enjoy the great weather that is here and heading our way.
