Hope you all had a fabulous Valentines! Ours was great! We went and celebrated on Thursday to beat the crowds. We always celebrate early or later. Then we usually have a nice evening at home together and cook a really yummy meal but this year was different. It was our ward temple night on Valentines and we hadnt been in a while so we decided to go. It was so cool! We got to seal couples and children to each other. It was so awesome being able to do that for people on one of the most romantic holidays of the year! We loved it so much that we are going to make it a tradition now. After that we went and got Cafe Rio cause we needed to spend the rest of the time that night writing our talks for Sunday. That was our first time speaking in church together. It was fun! My husband made it look so easy. I am such a wreck when I have to speak. I was trying to think back when the last time it was I spoke in church and it probably has been 10 years. So I guess I might be safe for another 10 years...Doubt it, but I will tell you I think it has been so long cause I play the flute and I play in wards all the time. So I do participate! Anyway I wanted to put up one of my favorite poems cause I just watched the movie where it came from and it is perfect for Valentines, although I did hear that it came from the bible.
Love is always patient and kind. It is never jealous.
Love is never boastful or conceited. It is never rude or selfish.
It does not take offense. It is not resentful.
Love takes no pleasure in other people's sins but delights in the truth.
It is always ready to excuse, to trust, to hope and to endure whatever comes.
