Tavin James Gatherum
Our boy is finally here! We were induced on June 11, 2009. He weighed 8 lbs. 5 oz., 21 inches long and has so much blonde hair. We started at 10 in the morning and were finished at 7 that night and we pushed for about 45 mins. Everything went well and we had no complications thank goodness. We are truly blessed to have this sweet little boy in our lives. We seriously cant get enough of him!!! We stare at him constantly. Tavin has been such a good baby so far. He hardly ever cries, he sleeps really well, he eats like there is no tmrw and when he is awake he is so chill. He just stares at you and takes it all in! We love our Tavin and we are so excited to have him in our family!
Waiting for him to come!

Almost There!
Oh happy day we are a few days away! We are so so excited except for the fact that we are both terribly sick! I am so miserable I cant even find the words to explain. Well we payed a little visit to the doctor today and he said that we have only dilated 1/2 more but we have dropped so that is good, but since I havent dilated enough then we will not be getting induced til Thurs the 11th. So our goal is to do anything we can in our power to get this boy here! So if any of you have any ideas of how to get it done then send the advice our way. We would greatly appreciate it! Here is my most recent photo that was taken a week ago. Sorry that I havent been more in touch lately I have been so so busy trying to get everyone caught up at work. Hope everyone is doing well and cant wait to get caught up on all your lives. We will update as soon as we can after we have the baby! Thanks for everyones advice and support over the past 9 months!
Ty got to go to Maryland for 10 days for work. While he was over there he got to visit New York, Washington D.C., and Pennsylvania! He had so much fun! He has never been back east and now wants to move there! Here are some pictures from his trip. He got to be in Washington D.C. over Memorial Day weekend and he said it is absolutely the best time and most patriotic time to go! Also the Iwo Jima statue of the soldiers pushing the flag up is the biggest thing I have ever seen in my life! The picture does it no justice. If you guys havent ever been back there you really need to go. It is soooo beautiful and there are so many amazing things to see!
